Harrell Gunn grew up in Atlanta, the son of a doctor. From a young age, he saw what happens when people get hurt — the surgeries, the rehab, the bills that pile up, the insurance companies that fight every claim. He understood medicine before he understood law, and that dual perspective would become the foundation of everything The Gunn Law Group represents.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University, Harrell earned his law degree from Georgia State University School of Law. He didn't open a firm right away. Instead, he trained under some of the top personal injury attorneys in Georgia — learning how insurance companies build their defense, how adjusters evaluate claims, and every tactic the defense uses to minimize what injured people receive.
And then he saw the gap. Big firms had resources but lacked personal touch — clients would sign with a name from a billboard and never speak to an actual attorney. Smaller firms had heart but not always the firepower, settling cases early because they couldn't afford to take them to trial.
